• రాష్ట్రంలోని 21 లక్షల BC కుటుంబాల ఇళ్లపై రూఫ్‌టాప్ సోలార్ సిస్టమ్స్ ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్నారు.
• 7.48 లక్షల SC, ST వినియోగదారుల ఇళ్లపై 2 కిలోవాట్ల చొప్పున సోలార్ రూఫ్‌టాప్ సెట్లను అమర్చనున్నారు.
• ఈ మొత్తం ప్రాజెక్ట్ 415 మెగావాట్ల సామర్థ్యంతో చేపట్టనున్నారు.

ఇతర ముఖ్య విశేషాలు:

• కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ పథకం PM KUSUM కింద 1.36 లక్షల వ్యవసాయ పంపుసెట్లకు సోలార్ విద్యుత్ సిస్టమ్స్ ఏర్పాటు.
• PM E-DRIVE కింద మార్చి నెలలోపు ఎలక్ట్రిక్ వాహనాల కోసం చార్జింగ్ స్టేషన్ల ఏర్పాటు.

ఈ ప్రాజెక్టులు రాష్ట్రంలో పునరుత్పాదక ఇంధన వినియోగం, వ్యవసాయ రంగ అభివృద్ధి, మరియు పర్యావరణ పరిరక్షణకు పెద్ద పీట వేయనున్నాయి.

Amaravati: The Government of Andhra Pradesh is preparing for a massive solar expansion across the state. Special Chief Secretary for Energy, Vijayanand, announced the following key initiatives:

• Installation of rooftop solar systems for 21 lakh BC households.
• Provision of 2 kW rooftop solar units for 7.48 lakh SC and ST households.
• The total capacity of this project is estimated at 415 MW.

Additional Schemes:

• Under the PM KUSUM scheme, solar power systems will be installed for 1.36 lakh agricultural pump sets.
• Under PM E-DRIVE, electric vehicle charging stations will be set up by March.

These initiatives are expected to significantly boost renewable energy adoption, sustainability, agriculture modernization, and environmental protection across Andhra Pradesh.
